Welcome To Church- Enjoy The Glory of God

As we step into a new year, we’re invited to move beyond the routine of religious duty and discover what it truly means to enjoy the glory of God. This message takes us deep into Exodus 33-34, where Moses—after witnessing miraculous plagues, the parting of the Red Sea, and God’s provision in the wilderness—makes one stunning request: ‘Show me your glory.’ What’s remarkable is that despite all Moses had experienced, he still hungered for more of God’s presence. When God responds, He doesn’t just display power; He proclaims His character—merciful, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love. This reveals a profound truth: enjoying God’s glory requires correct knowledge of who God is. We can’t truly enjoy someone we don’t know. The question confronting us is whether we’re willing to reorient our lives around this pursuit, not just fitting God into our already-packed schedules, but making space for Him to transform our understanding and experience. When we encounter God’s glory correctly, worship becomes our natural response—not as obligation, but as overflow. This year could be the year we stop enduring God and start enjoying Him, moving from knowledge about Christ to experiencing the love that surpasses knowledge, being filled with all the fullness of God.
