Fall Couples Getaway
November 1 - November 3
// Fall Couples Getaway
The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make a helper SUITABLE for him.” Genesis 2:18
You have heard it said time and time again that “opposites attract”. However, once married those differences that were so attractive while dating can sometimes become irritating and lead to much conflict and distress in a relationship. Yet, it’s God’s design that through our differences we are able to become one. The word suitable found in Genesis 2:18 is an interesting concept that denotes the unique qualities and differences between husband and wife. The Hebrew word for suitable means “to stand opposite of”, yet fully suited and fitted for one another. So how is God’s vision of oneness in marriage attainable if husband and wife are so different? Come join us on the Exchange Couples Fall Getaway during the peak of Autumn colors in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lynchburg, VA along the banks of the James River, November 1-3, 2019 where we will explore several facets of this concept of SUITABLE and learn how to celebrate the differences each of us bring into marriage. Whether you have been to every retreat or never before, this format and curriculum will be one you do not want to miss out on!
