The Resurrection

Even though Jesus spoke of the resurrection, Scripture doesn't indicate that there were any followers who were anticipating it. Instead, they cowered in fear, and grieved the loss of a friend. But when these followers of Jesus saw the risen king it changed everything. It proved that Jesus was who he said he was and could do what he said he could do. The resurrection made all of Scripture come alive as it pointed to Jesus and allowed those who follow Him to walk in the peace that he brings. Additionally, the resurrection causes us to worship with Joy the risen savior.
