What People Think
“Getting a reset for our relationship was invaluable, after 6 yrs of marriage and 2 kids, multiple job changes, etc…we needed to talk through things that we didn’t have the vocabulary to even bring up. Being given questions and tools to know HOW to have those conversations will serve us well for the rest of our marriage.”
“I can honestly say it was life-changing. Personally, I grasped a deeper vision for what God desires in marriage, that is, Oneness. I could quote the Scriptures and explain a biblical marriage decently in an essay but I don’t believe that my heart grasped the DEPTH of two becoming ONE until this weekend. God wants us to passionately pursue unity with our mate just like Jesus did for His church. Prior to this weekend, I feel that we lived like we are just two pretty compatible people with common interests sharing their resources. My heart finally caught up with my head (knowledge)!”
“I would say my marriage was in the very middle of the disenchantment phase when we arrived. Personally, the retreat made me more aware that my wife’s needs and desires are more than the income I bring to the table and physical intimacy. The getaway had a very positive impact on our marriage.”
“This getaway was what we needed, but we didn’t realize how much we needed it. I think it set up a good foundation upon which we may build for the seasons to come, and revealed how much we need these spaces to connect with one another more regularly”
“We had an amazing time getting to know the other couples and instructors. We both really enjoyed going through each lesson and then continuing our conversations afterwards. The getaway had a tremendous effect on us both, and we are now able to view our relationship in a new and fruitful way.”
