Call to Prayer: Psalm 34:1–3

I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Give us this day our daily bread”

God, we are your people. We need you to remember us as you always have. Will you give us the heart of children who KNOW with certainty that their Father will give them what they need? You know what provision is for us. So, we say yes to that. We say yes to whatever you have for us. We’re not good at this, Lord. We don’t trust you like we ought. Help us to see you providing and welcome it exactly how it comes.  Build in us grateful, faithful hearts in response to your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Psalms: Psalm 90

  1. How do you see the sovereignty of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Praying the Mission of Exchange: “Extend the Love of God”

Need in the World to be Restored: Poverty

You have promised to provide all that we need. Thank you for the opportunity to pray for those in poverty both near and far today. We pray that we would, as a Church globally, rise to the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Provide for those lacking food, water, healthcare, access to services, and basic needs today. We trust you to work in the world, even when it seems bleak.

Commission to Serve the King:
Matthew 6:33–34
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
