Call to Prayer: Psalm 7:7

Let the assembly of the peoples be gathered about you; over it return on high.

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father who are in Heaven, Hallowed by thy Name”

God of all creation, you are all that we can never be. And yet you take us as we are, while we were yet sinners in direct rebellion to your holiness you sent your one and only Son into the brokenness of the world to save us. We have done nothing to deserve this glorious intrusion. We still do nothing that would merit such a gift. So, we thank you, God, for your gift of salvation. We love you, Father. In the name of your Son, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Old Testament: Ezekiel 37

  1. How do you see the sovereignty of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Praying the Mission of Exchange: “Enjoy the Glory of God”

Attribute of God to Praise: God is Gracious

You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. If it were not for your indelible, unconditional grace we would be doomed to a life separated from you and left to our own devices. We confess that we often (if not always) take your grace towards us for granted in big ways and small ways. Help us live a life marked by this extravagant grace.

Commission to Serve the King:
Hebrews 10:24–25

Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
