Call to Prayer: Psalm 9:7–8

But the LORD sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice, and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Prayer for the Church

O God of all power and majesty, you created the heavens and stretched them out. You formed the earth and all that comes from it. You give the breath of life to all who walk on the face of the earth. Jesus, you conquered sin and death and now reign victorious. You are Lord; glory is due your name.
The former things have come to pass; we now await the new things you will bring through the Holy Spirit. We rejoice to be gathered in your name. Alleluia! Accept our praises and petitions. Amen.  [WSB,660]

Scripture Reading from the Enthronement Psalm: Psalm 93

  1. How do you see the sovereignty of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

The Gathering of the Redeemed for the Worship of the King
