Call to Prayer: Psalm 108:5

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever and ever. Amen

Father, from the day of our birth we’ve been building our little domains and asserting our power to rule them. You know our hearts. You see the tendencies and the well-beaten pathways towards crowing ourselves the king and queen of whatever it is we’re doing and building. We’re wrong and we’re sorry. Yours is the kingdom. Yours is the power. It is your right to build our lives according to your kingdom. You have bought us with the blood of your son—you’ve called us your children and your heirs with Christ. By his grace, we choose your kingdom and your power, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Sermon Series: Psalm 23

  1. How do you see the goodness and care of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today in the face of anxiety?

Praying the Mission of Exchange: “Extend the Love of God”

Mission of the Church in the World: Pray for the people groups in North Africa and the Middle East

North African and Middle Eastern peoples live in a place where history blends with the modern world. Filled with unengaged and unreached peoples, there the church is engaged in a captivating resurgence unlike any other. Pray the millions of unreached people will hear and respond to the good news.

Commission to Serve the King:
Romans 12:1–2

By the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Amen.
