Call to Prayer: Psalm 30:2–3

O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father who are in Heaven, Hallowed by thy Name”

Thank you, Lord that before any of us were, you ARE. You have no beginning and you have no end. And with that comes the reality that ALL that you are has no beginning and no end. No end to your grace. No end to your love. We will never see the end of your goodness, your holiness, your justice, Lord.  We love that you are our Father and you graciously share all things with your children. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Old Testament: Lamentations 3:19–26

  1. How do you see the sovereignty of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Praying the Mission of Exchange: “Enjoy the Glory of God”

Attribute of God to Praise: God is Patient

God thank you that over and over again your Word reminds us that you are merciful and generous, slow to anger, and rich in love towards us. Thank you that you are a God who bears with us, even when we are unbearable creatures. We confess that we do not follow you in this virtue, so we ask that you would continue to conform us to the image of your Son in this and all ways.
