Call to Prayer: Psalm 82:8

Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”

Lord we need your help. You lead us into places of flourishing, but to be honest, it doesn’t always look like we think. A lot of times it doesn’t look we think it should. Your deliverance doesn’t always look like deliverance. When we find ourselves still in the battle, still in the struggle, we ask for your nearness. And that your nearness would be our good. You will not leave us or forsake us. Remind us why that is enough.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Sermon Series: Acts 2:42-47

  1. How do you see the unity of the church in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Commission to Serve the King:
Mark 12:29-31
Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
