Call to Prayer: Psalm 8:1

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens!

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”

Lord, we are unable to save ourselves. This has been proven without exception. On our own we will plummet further into the hole our own actions, and the actions of others has dug for us. But that is not your way. When we were flailing about helpless, you saved us and put our feet on the rock. In your sovereignty, you provide us a way out and into flourishing. Thank you, Father, that you do not leave us to our own foolish devices. Thank you for saving us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Sermon Series: Acts 2:25-28

  1. In this passage, how do you see the sovereignty of God in the face of fear?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Praying the Mission of Exchange: “Equip the People of God”

Ministry of the Church: Student Ministry

God, bless the Student Ministry of Exchange. Thank you for the students that make up this ministry and for the incredible opportunity Exchange has to walk alongside them in these deeply formative years. Jesus, give Tyler & Kailey Gibbens wisdom and grace as they lead the students and volunteers who serve them. Thank God for the beauty of ministries like this one that disciple young believers to make much of Jesus.

Commission to Serve the King:
1 Thessalonians 2:16–17

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
