Celebrate the King who reigns over all of the Nations.

Use this guide of prayer, in whole or in part, as the Lord leads you.

Call to Prayer: Psalm 102:15

Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.

Time of Gratitude

“Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Eph. 5:20).

Take this time to give thanks to God for three (3) specific things from the last 24 hours.

Praying the Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name”

Lord God, we thank you that you do not become less holy by taking on our lot—you just make everything around you holy as you go. And that includes us. You chose us to be in your family. Through you we may become children of God. You are conforming us into your image, all this to the praise of YOUR glorious grace, not ours.  And you deserve every ounce of that glory, God. We give it to you with joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture Reading from the Old Testament: Isaiah 60

  1. How do you see the sovereignty of God in this passage?
  2. How might God be calling you into obedience today?

Praying the Mission of Exchange:
“Enjoy the Glory of God”

Attribute of God to Praise: God is Peace

God we praise you that you are peace. We confess that all of our efforts at coping have not brought us a lasting peace. Thank you that you not only offer a feeling of peace, but you ARE our peace. Thank you that in giving us your Spirit, we have access to a peace that passes all understanding that will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus.

Commission to Serve the King:
Romans 12:9

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
