This Week: Gathering Together // Marriage Adventures // Studying 1 Peter // This Week @ Exchange
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.” —1 Thessalonians 5:11
Being a part of a small group is always a great way to be involved in the lives of others in the church. However, this isn’t the only way to get to know the family of Exchange. While large group gatherings are not always easy for everyone, we encourage you to gather together individually. Meeting one-on-one for coffee, going for a walk, or fixing a meal for another family are some ways you can connect with others. Make a plan now to catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while or someone you’d like to spend time with. Who do you miss seeing on Sundays? Who have you not seen lately that comes to mind? Who would you like to encourage? Send a text and find a time today! You’ll be glad you did.
Marriage Mini-Adventures Start Soon!
On Sunday, Brian shared about the marriage mini-adventures happening at Exchange this fall. In place of a typical Exchange marriage getaway, the various outings are designed to give you time with other couples and your spouse. These adventures are intended to encourage meaningful relationships, intentional conversations, and some fun!
One opportunity for adventure is coming up on September 19th as Eric and Ashley Martindale host a hike through beautiful Raven Rock State Park. Other activities are available later this month and in early October.

Aliens and Exiles
We encourage you to keep studying 1 Peter. Reading ahead is one way of doing that! You can also catch up on previous sermons here. And don’t forget you can find application questions along with the sermon audio under each sermon link.
