This week with Exchange

This Week: Easter at Exchange // Maundy Thursday // Food Distribution // New Devotion // This Week @ Exchange

He is Risen!

“Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!”

The circumstances of our world do not change the glorious hope we have in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our hope for today and for the future is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading (1 Peter 1:4).

Easter Sunday is a great time to invite someone you know to worship with Exchange. While you may not be able to invite your neighbors, coworkers, and friends to a building, don’t miss the opportunity to ask them to tune in online. Everyone around is looking for a reason to hope in something good ahead––Easter celebrates just that!

Here’s the link you can send to your friends and family to watch the live stream:

Maundy Thursday Livestream

Maundy Thursday is celebrated on Good Friday’s eve to mark the foot washing at the Last Supper and Jesus giving the commandment: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34). Churches around the world mark this time by remembering and proclaiming the body and blood of Jesus given for us.

North Wake Church invites you to join their live-streamed Maundy Thursday service tomorrow at 7PM.

Please read these statements on preparing for the Lord’s Supper:

Serving Rolesville

We still need your help distributing meals in Rolesville. Two volunteers are needed every weekday from 11AM to 1PM to hand out prepared meals in a neighborhood near Rolesville Elementary School. No human-to-human contact is required. Please sign up and help!

Click the link below to find an available time. Let’s serve our neighbors in need of food in these difficult days.

Beyond the Journey of the Cross

We hope you have enjoyed walking on the Journey of the Cross together. We trust that it has helped you develop a consistent rhythm of loving God more and enjoying his Word. As we finish this week, you may be wondering what is next. We have a plan! The Celebration of the King. This is a devotional resource covering the 40 days following the Resurrection.

Keep an eye out for a link to this resource later this week!
