Praying Together

We hope you were able to join us this past Sunday for corporate prayer at 9:20. We believe praying together every Sunday is one way we can seek to be a people characterized by faithful, intentional, and effective prayer. Graham Michael shared with us the vision, values, and new format for Sunday morning prayer time. Click here to access the information if you missed it.

We were also reminded on Sunday that Jesus’s own disciples asked him how to pray. He responded to them with the Lord’s Prayer. We prayed through this prayer last summer together as a way of reminding ourselves how Jesus desires for us to pray. This link provides a helpful guide to pray through the Lord’s Prayer on your own.

Women’s Retreat

Registration is now open for the Women’s Retreat! We cannot wait to see what the Lord does this year in the hearts and lives of the women at Exchange. Some of you may be thinking that women’s ministry events aren’t really your thing. But as we heard on Sunday from Carolina Kavanaugh and Ruth Gower, God has used this retreat to provide encouragement from the Body of Christ, refreshment from the Word of God, and a time of rest in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

This year at the retreat we are encouraging each other to “Take Heart.” This theme is based on the encouragement we find in John 16:33 where Jesus says, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may find peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart. I have overcome the world.” We hope you will join us this year on April 3-5.
